Privacy Policy — GYMKhata

In short: GYMKhata stores everything on your own phone. We operate no servers and we never receive your data. We cannot see your members, your payments or your photos, because they never leave your device.

Who we are

GYMKhata ("the app") is an offline gym-management app published by the developer of the Google Play package com.gymkhata.app. Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact address on our Google Play listing.

What the app stores, and where

The app saves the following only in its private storage on your device:

Member details you enter: name, phone number, address, optional date of birth, optional photo.
Membership packages, prices and discounts you configure.
Payment records: amounts billed and received, payment mode, notes, refunds, expenses.
Your gym name, language, theme, reminder time and app-lock PIN.

This data is not transmitted anywhere. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. Because there is no cloud copy, we cannot restore it for you — use the in-app Backup feature to keep your own encrypted copy.

Data we collect about you

None. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no user accounts. We do not collect, receive, sell or share any personal information.

Permissions the app requests, and why

Camera / Photos — only if you choose to attach a member's photo. The image is copied into the app's private storage and never uploaded.
Notifications — to show the birthday reminder on the day, generated on your device.
Run at startup — so those reminders survive a phone restart.
Internet — used only for in-app purchases (the Pro upgrade). The app's records are never sent over the internet.

When data leaves the device — and only because you send it

Some features hand information to another app you choose:

Sharing a receipt, a PDF report or a CSV export opens Android's share sheet, and the file goes wherever you send it (WhatsApp, email, Drive, a printer).
Tapping Call opens your phone dialler; tapping a birthday wish opens WhatsApp with a message pre-filled for you to review and send.
A backup file you create is saved where you choose to save it.

Those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

Purchases

The optional Pro upgrade is processed by Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, which records an anonymous purchase identifier and your subscription status so the app knows whether Pro is active. Payment details are handled by Google Play and are never seen by the app or by us. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy.

Children

GYMKhata is a business tool for gym owners and is not directed at children under 13.

Your control over your data

Everything lives on your phone, so you are in full control: edit or delete any member or entry inside the app, export it, back it up, or remove all of it by uninstalling the app or clearing its storage in Android Settings. There is no account to close and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date.
